▪️Because it is a natural material, there are individual differences in color and pattern. In addition, we believe that cracks (inner scratches) and inclusions (stains) contained in natural stones are unique to natural stones, so please understand before purchasing.

▪️Silver has the property of discoloring over time (sulfurization). You can clean it with a commercially available polishing cloth or baking soda. Rubbing too hard may cause scratches, so gentle care is the key to keeping it clean.

[Tanzanite]

Tanzanite's Japanese name is Yurenseki. December birthstone.

The main production area is Tanzania Merelani mine only

Mohs hardness is 6.5-7

Tanzanite Gem Words: Proud Person, Nobility, Intelligence, Calmness, Hope, Mystery

Tanzanite is a transparent stone with a beautiful indigo violet color. In inclusion-rich stones, cloudiness is caused by microcrystals of various colors such as spots, fine needle-like crystals with fine particles, and branch crystals of other minerals. Tanzanite was first discovered in 1967 and is fairly new. Bratt, the then president of Tiffany & Co., was the godmother. It is mined only in one region of Tanzania. The official name is "Blue Zoisite". This stone's rarity and value are increasing as production volumes begin to decline and the likelihood of finding alternative sources is slim. Mohs hardness is 6.5-7. It is a polychromatic stone.

<Handling of tanzanite>

Tanzanite has a complete cleavage and is relatively soft, brittle and easily chipped, so care must be taken against impacts. Also, please avoid steam cleaning and ultrasonic cleaning as heat damage may change color or cause cloudiness. It is also necessary to pay attention to heat processing when resizing.
