 [Diopside] 
 Diopside is not widely known, but the color of the stone has an appeal that no other stone has, and it attracts viewers. Diopside colors are bottle green, brownish green, light green, brown and purple. It shines brightly because of its high refractive index. Some diopside stones have a nearly black ground color, fibrous inclusions running in the same direction, and a clear four-article star. Diopside is not subjected to any treatment such as heat treatment or impregnation to improve color. It is a natural beautiful green. 
 <Chrome diopside> 
 The most valuable of the diopsides is "Chrome Diopside", a vivid emerald green containing chromium. Large, colorful chrome diopside stones that do not contain inclusions are very expensive because they are rare. 
 <Handling of diopside> 
 Steam cleaning and ultrasonic cleaning are strictly prohibited because they are sensitive to heat. Also, do not touch bleach or detergent, as the stone will lose its luster when exposed to acid.
