 The 7x5mm iolite is an oval faceted brilliant cut. 
 The pierced base is Argentium silver which is hard to discolor. It has twice the strength of sterling silver and is easy to care. 
 There are two types of piercing catches: a bullet type with a rubber built-in silver and a silicon type with a silver catch covered with silicon. You can choose your favorite from the options.

 [Iolite] 
 As the name suggests, iolite is bluish violet and is also called water sapphire because it resembles sapphire. The Japanese name is cordierite. September birthstone . Mohs hardness is 7, classified as a semi-precious stone. The pleochroicity is very strong, and when seen through light, it changes from ultramarine blue to hay color depending on the angle of the surface. Cats eyes and stars may appear as special effects. 
 <Handling of iolite > 
Iolite is a hard stone because it is hard, but care must be taken not to hit it strongly because it is vulnerable to impact from a certain direction. Durability against heat and chemicals is not weak.
